It targets women aged from 15 to 24 although Duff thinks it will appeal to a broader audience due to the sophistication of the scent. The star closely monitored the creation of the fragrance saying it took 115 different versions to perfect it. The juice was created by Quest perfumers Stephen Nilsen and Rodrigo Flores-Roux. According to Box Office Mojo, Material Girls will be shown at an estimated 1500 theaters when it opens on Friday, August 18. For those of you who don't follow box office results, this number is very low. Most major movies open at 2500-3000 theaters, while the biggest blockbusters get played at 4000+ locations.The low theater count is more bad news for Material Girls' box office expectations. Fierce competition from other movies, low theater count, lack of promotion, and Hilary's recent poor track record at the box office are all signals that lead me to believe that Material Girls won't make very much money at the box office. I hope I'm wrong.

The movie "Accepted", which was supposed to be released on August 11th, will now be released on August 18th - the same day as Material Girls. Before this, the only other major release on August 18th was Snakes on a Plane. The added competition that Accepted will bring can't be good for MG's box office prospects. Accepted is a teen comedy and will probably attract some of the same audience as Material Girls.

What’s up? I’m doing a photo shoot for two different Canadian publications from 10 to 5 on Thursday! I have been trying to kick back and relax for a few days. I got to hang out with Joel. We went to eat and saw a movie. I thought that Monster House was cool. I can't wait until next week when we go to the Material Girls premiere because my mom, my sister, my boyfriend, Haylie’s boyfriend, my cousins, my co-workers and so on and so on will be there! A whole lot of people are flying in for it. It opens on the 18th of August. We could only do the premiere on Monday because Haylie is doing Hairspray on Broadway every day except Monday. Make sure you support us and go to see the movie! Oh yeah and check me out when I preview my new video "Play With Fire" next week on TRL. It’s hot! There are mirrors reflecting and glass breaking with fire all around. I am soooo happy with it. Gotta go.

If you ask filmmaker Martha Coolidge, Hilary and Haylie Duff deserve the title of Hardest-Working Young Women in Show Business.
"I don't think they ever have a down moment," she says of the sisters she directed in the Aug. 18-opening "Material Girls." "Sometimes Hilary would do an interview or two before coming to the set, work a solid 13 hours, then go off and have to do a recording session that night. One day she said, 'Oh! I actually have a day off tomorrow. I haven't had a day off in ...' and she paused. And then she said, 'in two years.' "
Coolidge feels that "Material Girls" marks "a whole step beyond anything I've ever seen Hilary in. She's playing a young adult. She's 18, taking over a company. These are definitely the biggest roles I've seen either Hilary or Haylie play," adds the director, who considers Haylie a natural comedian. The elder Duff is now balancing her role in Broadway's "Hairspray" with work on the CW's "7th Heaven."

I was at my school and everybody was walking around in the hall ways , because Hilary was going to perform at our school. I was talking to one of my friends when I heard my name beinging called out from behind me. So I turned around and it was Hilary , she came running toward me and gave me a hug and she said to me " Oh my gosh I have been looking all over the place for you, uh oh I need to go perform i'll talk to you later .Bye!" then she walked away waving . After she waved i woke up. :)
