Stardoll, the world's largest online entertainment destination for girls aged 10-17 focused on fun, fashion and friends, today announced that pop icon Hilary Duff, has officially joined its virtual community. By debuting a "Real Celebrity" page with her label, Hollywood Records, Hilary and Stardoll have launched a unique promotional platform from which she can interact with Stardoll's more than 8 million members of aspiring fashionistas and pop culture enthusiasts.
Members will have the opportunity to browse virtual fashion designs inspired by actual designs created by Hilary herself, which they can buy with Stardollars.

Hilary Duff, the former “Lizzie McGuire” star turned musician will perform Wednesday, August 29th at the New York State Fair. Tickets for the performance will go on sale Saturday. June 23 at 10am, and cost between $47 and $52.

Hilary heads back to school

Hilary Duff is heading back to school. The singer/actress will pay a visit to Normandie Elementary School in Los Angeles on June 14 to celebrate the success of USA Harvest's "Blessings in a Backpack" program, which she financed. By the end of the month, the 12-week program will have provided more than 72,000 meals to the roughly 1,000 students who attend the school.

It’s been a long time. I have been busy and trying to maintain this crazy schedule. Hope you checked out Stranger. It premiered yesterday on Yahoo! and is coming on TRL. Plz, help retire it like With Love. I did a photo shoot for a UK fashion magazine at this beautiful house in the Hollywood Hills; it had a huge artist’s quarters and a beautiful garden. The house had one of the best views of Hollywood that I have ever seen. They say the guy who directed Patriot Games owns it.
Anyhoo, I am off on VACATION WITH MY BIG SIS HAYLIE!!! We are flying to NY because one of the executive producers of Lizzie McGuire named Susan Jansen is getting married, we are going to the wedding and then we will stay a few days and relax and enjoy life. I promise that I will send pics from our trip.
Gotta go, I’ll talk to you soon. Oh yeah, I saw a preview of War Inc., the movie we filmed in Bulgaria, and it was awesome! I really enjoyed it, can’t wait until it comes out in the film festivals.

Lindsay Lohan and Hilary Duff have buried the hatchet and finally made peace.
In 2003, rumours claimed that the teen starlets fell apart when Lohan found out that her erstwhile boyfriend, singer Aaron Carter, had cheated on her with Duff.
And now reports claim that the 'Mean Girl' and 'Lizzie McGuire' have ended all the "weird weirdness" between them.
Duff recently confirmed that she has ended all the strangeness and enmity with Lohan.
"Lindsay and I were out at the same place, and we were like, 'Let's get this out of the way.' And she was really nice, and I was really nice," MSN Gossip quoted Duff, as telling Canada's Globe and Mail.
Duff also added that the whole thing reminded her of her high school years when she was filming the television series and friends would share their "intense" dramas.
"They'd say, 'Oh my god, you'll never believe what this guy did,' and I'd be like, 'Hmm, we just shot an episode about that last week.' But it's nice to be able to see Lindsay out and say hi, and not have this weird weirdness," she said.

There are actors who sing and singers who act, but throughout pop history few entertainers have successfully balanced those twin careers.
Neither could Hilary Duff, though not due to lack of effort. While her career as a pop diva skyrocketed -- she released two platinum albums and a best-selling greatest-hits disc in just three years -- the former Disney child star found her acting career stalling. Despite her considerable star wattage, Hollywood had difficulty seeing Duff beyond her past sugary sweet roles and good girl persona (no rehab or pantyless partying here).
"It always shocks me the lack of openness, the lack of imagination that some casting directors have," Duff, 19, says in her girlish voice, sitting in a back corner of one of her favorite restaurant haunts, brunet hair peeking out of a black suede cap.
